The jersey number 16 is one of the most uncommon jerseys as only a few players personalized it to themselves. This, however, doesn’t mean great soccer players with number 16 on their back in the past or now.

Roy Keane- When Roy Keane is mentioned, his jersey number 16 is always what pop too many people’s mind. He was a scary player that attackers fear but did his job very well. Keane was a member of the treble-winning squad in 1999 and was instrumental in the midfield. So when soccer players with number 16 are called, Keane will not only come out, he will lead the park. He was also famous for his disciplinary issues as he got sent off several times in his career. Overall, Keane was a master in the art of marshaling the midfield.
Arjen Robben- While at Chelsea, Arjen Robben wore jersey number 16. He was a known threat to defenders in the Premier League. Rob Holding- One of the best prospects at Arsenal right now. The youngster is having a great start in his North London career and has gotten the trust of the two coaches he worked with, Unai Emery and Arsene Wenger. This was a win for everyone as this is seen as a squad player but has grown into becoming a player that can be trusted and when he returns to full fitness, it wouldn’t surprise anyone to see him start ahead of others.
Kyle Walter-Peters- This boy was a revelation from Mauricio Pochettino. Although he has been seen as the next big star at White Hart Lane. He might currently not be a starter every week but he is doing what it takes to get to his optimal level. This could mean that in a few years from now a new soccer player with jersey number 16 would have emerged.
